Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Weekend call approximately every 4th to 5th weekend
• Weeknight call approximately every 1 to 2 weeks
• Holiday call rotation
• Shift options:

  • 36-hour shifts: 09:00–18:30 or 06:00–18:30
  • 40-hour shifts: 08:00–18:30

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering the last 7 years, including SSN verification (dated within 30 days of start)
• Iowa-specific criminal history, sex offender, and dependent adult & child abuse registry checks (within 30 days prior to start)
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC) with MRO signature
• Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Confidentiality and Security Agreement, Integrity and Audit Services, Non-Employee Upload, System Access Form, and other required professional forms completed and signed
• Exclusion screenings including EPLS, OIG, OFAC, NSO, and Joint Commission CORE exam (all dated within 30 days of start)

Experience
