X-Ray Technologist (Traveler) - Long-Term Assignment
Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift (07:00 - 19:30)
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Job Summary
Seeking a licensed X-Ray Technologist with proficiency in both mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment. The role requires extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, and the ability to comply with state and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in Illinois
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Completion of Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP)
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Primary source verification of professional license and certifications within 30 days of start.
- Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC) within 60 days of start.
- Annual color-blind test.
- COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses plus booster) or documented declination.
- Proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza (seasonal), and Tdap.
- TB test within one year of start date and annual TB questionnaire.
- Annual respirator fit test completed prior to start.
- National criminal background check within one year of start date.
- Social Security card or passport for identity verification.
- Physical/health statement completed annually, stating clearance to work.
- Completion of core competencies exam with a minimum score of 80%.
- Skills checklist submission required.
- Workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP).
- Signed job description within the past year.
- Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9) or agency attestation.
- Badge photo (clear headshot with plain background).
