Registered Nurse (IR RN) – Washington, Burien

Position Details

• Specialty: Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse
• Location: Burien, Washington
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Pre-scheduled shifts with some flexibility for self-scheduling
• Weekend Requirement: None
• Holiday Requirement: On-call as needed, primarily for 3-day holiday weekends
• Scrubs: Blue scrubs provided

Department & Job Duties

• Department has 2 imaging rooms/scanners
• Common procedures: Placement of lines, tubes, and drains
• RN duties include pre-, intra-, and post-procedural patient monitoring
• Average number of procedures per day: 4-6
• Use of EMR/PACS systems: EPIC and Change (McKesson) PACS
• Equipment: Siemens and GE imaging systems
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• Radiologist available in-house
• IV starts required

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Prior IR nursing experience required

Orientation & Work Environment

• Department-specific orientation provided
• Work schedule typically consists of 4 ten-hour day shifts
• Minimal call requirements, mostly on holidays
