Job Description

• Provide professional nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being.
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment throughout all nursing process phases: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and supervise the nursing patient care team, including Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other technicians.
• Collaborate with the nursing team and other disciplines to deliver patient care.
• Complete timely documentation of patient care, condition, reactions, responses to treatment, and track patient progress.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR).
• Prior charge nurse experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Michigan.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
