MRI Technologist - Michigan (Muskegon)

Job Details

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1st and 3rd flex shifts; includes every other weekend)
• Specialty: MRI Technician

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) certification
• ARRT (MR) certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Health and Safety Requirements (Must be completed prior to or at onboarding)

• COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster by Sept 2025) or approved exemption/declination
• MMR vaccination proof or IgG titer lab report
• Hepatitis B vaccination series initiated prior to start (titers not accepted)
• Influenza vaccine proof or declination (optional)
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB (per state guidelines)
• Varicella vaccination proof or IgG titer lab report
• Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
• Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start (NO THC)
• Tdap vaccine or declination (declination accepted if no pediatric interaction)
• Fit test for respirator (specific to location)

Professional and Compliance Requirements (Must be completed prior to or at onboarding)

• Resume and skills checklist (within one year)
• Two professional references
• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years)
• Education verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 30 days
• OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check within 30 days
• Integrity and audit services form signed shortly before start
• Joint Commission CORE exam within one year
• National Sex Offender Registry (NSO) check within 30 days (including statewide for Michigan)
• System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
• Code of conduct form signed
• I-9 verification completed by agency
• Specialty-specific competency testing within one year
• Color vision test
• Respirator evaluation with physician signature (on-site completion for Muskegon)

Additional Notes

• Agency will provide the skills checklist for clinical contractors.
• Shift includes day and night rotations on 1st and 3rd flex shifts.
• Every other weekend (EOW) work schedule applies.
