Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work 36-40 hours per week with billable overtime after 40 hours; can work up to 48 hours per week with billable overtime after 48 hours.
- Use EPIC electronic medical record system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of previous step-down nursing experience.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
- Work history/resume, license verification, copy of required certifications, and one supervisory reference required at time of submission.
- Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Willingness to float to the Emergency Department (ED).
- Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly (dates available upon request).
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
- Call back pay with a minimum 2-hour call back.
- Charge/preceptor pay available.

- This position requires flexibility to float within the same nursing discipline.
- Prior travel experience is not required.
- Must be able to meet all documentation and certification requirements before starting.
