Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Mattoon, Illinois

Job Description

• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in the ICU.
• Perform comprehensive assessments using age-specific data, including physical and psychosocial status.
• Conduct ongoing patient assessments and document observations, physical exams, lab/test results, and patient responses to interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning to identify and clarify patient needs for optimal outcomes.
• Assist other staff with patient care as needed.
• Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning to promote positive outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Active Illinois RN license verified through Nursys.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification required within 30 days of start.
• Completed Skills Checklist relevant to ICU within the past year.
• Two supervisory reference forms with employment dates.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible).
• Applicants who were direct employees within the last 2 years are not eligible.
