Description

Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Specialty: Surgery Trauma
Shift: Night
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

Work on a high acuity Surgery Trauma floor
Patient population includes surgical cases, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic, and paraplegic patients
Patient-to-nurse ratio: 5:1
Nursing support staff available including Nursing Support Techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretary at night
Nurse handoff completed with ED nurse and admitting unit
Must be willing to work given shifts; no block schedules

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Trauma nursing experience
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
