MRI Technologist Position

Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Perform MRI studies on outpatients, inpatients, critical care, ER, and pediatric patients covering all body parts. Work exclusively in MRI without floating to other departments.

Work Schedule

• Shifts: Days and Nights
• Hours per shift: 12 hours
• Total hours per week: 36 hours
• Orientation includes 3 day shifts followed by 2-3 night shifts as needed
• Weekend shifts: Friday 9am-9pm, Saturday 6am-6pm, Sunday 6am-6pm

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years recent MRI experience
• Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT MR Registered)
• BLS Certification
• Experience with adult and pediatric MRI studies
• Proficient in Neuro, Musculoskeletal (MSK), and abdominal imaging
• Experience with GE Architect and SECTRA PACS system
• Ability to perform MRI studies in outpatient, inpatient, critical care, ER, and pediatric settings

• Siemens Espree 1.5T
• SECTRA PACS system
• VRAD night service
• EPIC Electronic Charting

Additional Information

• Dress code: Gray scrubs
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Local candidates within 80 miles considered
• No floating outside MRI department
• Facility is a 425-bed Level Two Trauma Center with Stroke Certification

• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission.
