Job Description
- Work in a Long Term Care facility located on the hospital site.
- Perform patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
- Notify MD/NP of pertinent patient information.
- Manage admitting and discharging processes.
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
- Care for patients with Gastrostomy Tubes, Urinary Catheters, Nebulized Treatments, Wound Vac, CPAP, and Tracheostomy.
- Other assigned nursing duties as required.
Shift
- 8-hour shifts, varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Flexibility required; no guarantee of specific hours or shift preference.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii.
- Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment.
Additional Information
- Candidate must be able to attend the employee health appointment on the Friday before starting.
- Flexibility and reliability in scheduling are essential.
