Mammography Technologist (Temporary)
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Shift: Days
Hours per day: 8
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Assist in breast biopsy procedures including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms.
- Instruct and position patients to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs.
- Ensure work area meets safety, equipment supply, and cleanliness standards.
- Manually enter data to prepare for dictation and billing.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
- Note: The contract permits 1 unscheduled absence and 2 tardies during the 13-week period; exceeding this will result in immediate contract termination.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- ARRT (M) Certification.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Additional Information
- Coverage may be required at the main campus downtown or at an additional facility in Farmington Hills.
- This is a temporary position with a 13-week contract length.
