Description

Job Opportunity: Obstetric Clinical Nurse

Location

  • City: Tuba City, Arizona

Employment Type

  • Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Approximately 36 hours per week

Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive, family-centered nursing care to mothers and babies during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and labor and delivery.
  • Assist physicians and midwives during examinations and procedures.
  • Perform nursing care procedures independently, considering specific patient conditions and treatments.
  • Follow physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies, and hospital policies.
  • Support individuals of all ages and their families.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year.
  • Experience in OB/GYN and nursery nursing.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Additional Information

  • Fingerprinting clearance required prior to start.
  • Shared contractor housing available; no pets or family allowed per policy.
  • Orientation sessions held every 2 weeks.
  • COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted after submission of a declination form.
  • Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start.

  • Located in a semi-desert region with elevations ranging from 4,400 to nearly 7,000 feet.
