Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Location: Mason City, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: Every third weekend, every other holiday

Job Description

Provide nursing care on Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units.
Work a 12.5-hour shift with a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

All licenses and certifications must be verified online within 30 days of start.
Documentation must include scanned copies of certifications with front and back images.
Specialty competency exam and skills checklist must be current (within one year).
Agency will provide the specialty skills checklist for clinical contractors.
Declinations for vaccines must be on agency letterhead and are not accepted in California or Illinois.
All required forms and documentation must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.

This position is suitable for RNs experienced in medical/surgical and telemetry nursing seeking a 13-week long-term assignment with a structured weekend and holiday rotation.
