Job Description
- Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition appropriately.
- Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Shift
- 06:45 AM to 7:15 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, with experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience
- Specialty: RN Telemetry I (Med Surg Telemetry)
- Required years of experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg / Telemetry experience.

- Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
- Must be able to work independently and handle stressful situations.
