Physical Therapist (PT) - Home Health (Temp)

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Shift: Days
Hours per day: 8
Contract length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide physical therapy services to home health clients.
• Deliver direct patient care and collaborate with the care team.
• Participate in developing comprehensive patient care plans.
• Utilize rehabilitation equipment such as splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment.
• Apply physical therapy modalities as appropriate.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in Acute Care, Home Care, and Home Health settings
• Experience with OASIS documentation
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

• This is a home health position requiring travel to patient homes.
• Orientation is non-billable and lasts 8 hours.
• Holiday and overtime pay multipliers apply.
• Call, call-back, and charge duties are not applicable.
• Candidates must have voicemail set up and be reachable by phone.

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute care experience is preferred but not required.
