Technologist - Mammography / X-Ray (Temp)

Job Summary

Perform a variety of technical radiologic procedures independently, including both X-Ray and Mammography. Responsible for patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies, infection control, and confidentiality standards. May have supervisory or instructional duties as assigned. Must demonstrate proficiency with PACS, HIS, RIS systems, and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) Certification (Radiologic Technologist)
• ARRT (M) Certification (Mammography)
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• Radiology Technologist experience

Additional Information

• This assignment requires proficiency in both X-Ray and Mammography specialties.
• 10- or 12-hour shift requests will not be considered; candidate must commit to the posted 8-hour day shift schedule.
• No concurrent permanent or travel assignments allowed.
• Orientation is 8 hours, non-billable.
• Facility maintains high standards for patient safety and quality, with a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging department.

• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred but not required.
