Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Nights)
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Work in a 10-bed ICU unit with a 2:1 RN-to-patient ratio
- Patient population ranges from adolescent to geriatric, Level III Trauma
- May float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Responsibilities include managing IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive medications, and arterial lines
- EPIC electronic health record experience required
- Charge nurse and preceptor skills are a plus
- Must have own vehicle for transportation
- No block scheduling or schedule accommodations will be considered
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at time of application; no more than 5 days allowed
- Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with at least 1 year of ICU experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Experience with arterial lines
- Proficient in managing ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
