Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical
Location: Rome, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Work in a step-down unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Patient-to-nurse ratio approximately 6:1
- Utilize EMR systems: Paragon and Pxyis
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of step-down experience, with recent step-down experience within the last year
- Experience in acute care and telemetry nursing
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
