Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse or LPN – Extended Care Unit

Location: Haxtun, Colorado
Unit: Extended Care Unit (Long Term Care)
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

  • Provide nursing care in a 20-bed long term care unit serving patients aged 65-99.
  • Patient population includes individuals with dementia, failure to thrive, COPD, and hypertension.
  • Utilize Athena EMR system for documentation and patient management.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in nursing.
  • Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) required.
  • Active Colorado Nursing License (RN or LPN) on file.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Additional Information

  • Night shift position.
  • Focus on care for elderly patients with chronic conditions in an extended care setting.
