Rad Tech Position – Williston, North Dakota
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
- Location: Williston, ND
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Call: Rotating call schedule (1 in 2-3), including weekends and holidays with a 20-minute response time
- Orientation: 3-5 shifts (8 hours each), depending on experience
- Dress Code: Gray scrubs (not provided)
Department & Equipment
- 1 digital x-ray room, 1 digital fluoroscopy/x-ray room, digital portable x-ray in ER
- C-arm in OR and procedure room
- 2 CT rooms, 1 mammography, 1 MRI, 1 Dexa, 3 ultrasound units
- Equipment brands: Siemens digital radiography and fluoroscopy, GE c-arm
- EMR/PACS systems: Meditech, McKesson PACS, CRTIS
- No radiologist on-site; no Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs)
- Manager available Monday-Friday during shifts
Job Duties & Workload
- Imaging types: trauma, orthopedic views (preferred experience), OR imaging, long leg, scoliosis studies
- Average scans/studies per day: 40-50, with multiple technologists scheduled
- No clinical involvement such as starting IVs
- May assist with patient transport in other modalities if workload allows
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience (ortho views preferred)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist – ARRT (R) verification required
- BLS Certification required
- North Dakota State Radiologic Technologist License required
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience preferred but not required
- Facility closed major holidays; rotating on-call coverage during holidays
- Radius rule: Candidates must not have worked full-time, part-time, or PRN within 50 miles at any related facilities in the past 12 months
- Return to Office (RTO) required upfront; no additional RTO approvals after submission
