Registered Nurse (Float Ambulatory Clinic) - Wisconsin

Job Details

Location: Beaver Dam, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Floating: Required to float as needed within the clinic
Orientation: 2 weeks (number of shifts)
Weekend and holiday work: Not required
Call or standby: Not required
Dress Code: Any scrubs
Clinic Type: Cardiology and Pulmonary, with float duties
Average Patients per Day: 15-18
Average Providers per Day: 1
Use of Medical Assistants or CNAs: Yes (shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Cerner

Job Duties

Placing orders
Calling patients back
Triage and reviewing results for provider
Chart preparation

Patient Population

Cardiac and pulmonary patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year of ambulatory care experience, including experience within the last year
Clinic experience
Cardiology experience
Pulmonology experience
