Radiologic Technologist With OR

Location: Johnson City, New York
Employment Type: Clinical-Allied
Shift: Evening (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
Schedule: 5 days a week with every 3rd weekend rotation (same hours), including call time on weekend shifts

Job Summary

• Perform routine portable, fluoroscopic, and operating room radiologic procedures as requested by referring physicians.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable evaluation of radiology procedures, equipment, and staff.
• Maintain effective communication with referring physicians, radiologists, ancillary departments, and patients to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to radiation safety practices according to ALARA principles.
• Provide patient education and thorough documentation.
• Follow accepted clinical principles and hospital policies, including incident reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in New York
• Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT(R) certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
