Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT - Pediatrics
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
- 26-week contracts with guaranteed 48 hours/week available
- Previous experience working in a children’s hospital preferred
Job Description
- Provide respiratory therapy services under general supervision for all appropriate pediatric age levels and areas served by the department
- Administer therapeutic treatments as prescribed by medical staff
- Record treatment information and patient responses in electronic medical records
- Serve as a resource to medical staff
- Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and patient monitoring
- Provide age-appropriate care to patients
- Ensure respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained
- Maintain respiratory therapy records
- Participate as a member of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Oklahoma
- Respiratory Care Practitioner experience within the last year (0 years of experience acceptable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
