Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Location: Asheboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), Monday through Friday
Setting: Outpatient

Job Description

• Perform vascular and echocardiography ultrasound procedures.
• Candidates must be registered with both ECHO and VASCULAR certifications; candidates with only RVS certification and Echo experience will be considered.
• Adult patient experience required.
• Utilize PACS and Philips imaging systems.
• Work with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Procedures include: Abdominal Aorta, Aorta, Arterial Graft Studies, Carotid, Color Flow, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial & Venous, M-Mode, Renal Artery Duplex, Transcranial Doppler, Upper Extremity Arterial & Venous.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Vascular Sonographer license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Vascular Sonographer, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• Registered with ARDMS or CCI
• Credentials including RDCS or RVT, and RCS
• Experience working with adult patients
