Registered Nurse – PICU (Travel/Contract)
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights or rotating (3 shifts of 12 hours each; 19:00–7:00 or 7:00–19:00)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
- Every other holiday off
- 3 weekends off per six-week schedule
- Can approve 40 hours for time off, but no time off approved during first 2 weeks of contract
- Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Association for Respiratory Care
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
