Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Colorado Springs, CO

Job Details

Specialty: OR RN (Operating Room Registered Nurse)
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (2100-0700)
Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Call Requirements: Approximately 120 hours per contract, shared in rotation with staff
Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Floating: May be required to float within Zone 1 units only in extreme need
Orientation: Unit/department-specific orientation provided; clinicians must be in-state for orientation week even if some modules are remote
EMR System: Epic
Scrubs: Provided

Unit Information

16 OR suites
Average of 30 cases per day
Common case types: General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Orthopedics, Robotics
OR techs: 2 on shift
Charge nurse experience preferred (charge nurse/house supervisor present on shift)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Trauma experience
Neurology experience
Valid Driver's License

Additional Notes

Hiring process includes profile review and interview with unit manager
Must submit driver's license (within 60-mile radius)
Holiday call preference for 4th of July
