Cath Lab Technologist – Wisconsin, Weston

Job Details

• Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
• Location: Weston, Wisconsin
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Schedule:

  • Regular hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Call: 1-2 weeknights per week, typically 1 in 3 weekend call rotation (more if desired)
  • Call response time: 30 minutes
  • Holiday call required

Job Description

• Monitor, circulate, and scrub cases (both cardiac and non-cardiac)
• Assist physicians during procedures
• Work in a department with 4 labs (3 cardiac, 1 electrophysiology)
• Average daily cases: 6-7 cardiac, 1-2 vascular interventional radiology
• Common patient diagnoses: Coronary artery disease (CAD), NSTEMI, STEMI, heart failure, aortic stenosis
• Use of EMR and equipment: Cerner, Merge
• Cardiologist hours/on-call: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM or until cases are completed
• Potential floating depending on locum coverage
• Hospital-supplied scrubs required
• Unit and hospital-specific orientation mandatory
• Clinicians must clock in/out at the facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

• No self-scheduling; fixed block scheduling Monday through Friday
• Call includes weeknights, weekends, and holidays
