Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Schedule: No weekends, no call
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Cover multiple locations within approximately 11 miles apart as needed.
- Workdays are Monday through Friday with start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- Completion of a radiologic technology educational program.
- ARRT (R) certification.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Certifications & Compliance Requirements
- Maintain current BLS certification (AHA).
- ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications may be required depending on unit specifics (verify prior to assignment).
- State license primary source verification within 30 days of start and upon expiration.
- Pass facility-specific competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable.
- Complete required background checks including:
- Nationwide criminal background check (within 90 days prior to start).
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monitoring upon hire and monthly thereafter.
- Wisconsin Caregiver Screening and BID form compliance.
- Drug screening required per clinical standards.
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety manual acknowledgments.
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility protocol.
- Annual TB questionnaire.
- Proof of immunizations or immunity for:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) – 2 doses or positive titers.
- Varicella – 2 doses or positive titer.
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or documented declination form.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption annually (flu season: Sept-April).
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination proof.
- Meningococcal vaccine or declination if working in Microbiology (if applicable).
- Facility-specific medical or religious exemption forms required for vaccine exemptions.
Additional Requirements
- Provide a professional, passport-style photo for badge issuance (no selfies or headwear except for religious/medical reasons).
- Complete facility-specific competency exams such as Adult or Pediatric Telemetry tests if applicable.
- Submit 2 clinical references from the last 3 years.
- Complete employment application and annual skills checklist.
