RN Perioperative Circulator - Adult Surgery
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Registered Nurse - Direct Care
Shift: 4 shifts of 10 hours each (40 hours per week)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Job Description
The Perioperative Circulator RN plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures. This role requires clinical knowledge, judgment, and reasoning to address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients during surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the operating room.
- Continuously evaluate and document all aspects of patient care in the perioperative environment using the nursing process.
- Individualize patient care based on health status, age, and type of surgery or procedure.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license appropriate for the state of Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 6 months level 1 experience in perioperative nursing.
Additional Information
- Work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week.
- Contract duration is approximately 13 weeks.
