MRI Technician Position - Wichita, Kansas
Job Details
- Location: Wichita, Kansas
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- Current, valid MRI Technician license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Proof of two Varicella vaccines, serological immunity, or verified history (no declinations accepted)
- Valid Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- 2-Step PPD or IGRA testing with annual TB questionnaire updates; if positive TB test, chest X-ray within last year required
- Influenza vaccine is optional but recommended during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31); declinations require mask wearing
- Fit test required prior to or at start (annual update required)
- Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually; retesting required if break in service > 90 days
- Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others within 90 days of start; updated annually or after break in service > 90 days
- EPLS check within 90 days of start; rerun if break in service > 90 days
Onboarding Requirements
- Professional resume/profile submission required.
- At least two professional references required prior to first assignment.
- Driver’s license or state ID must be current, show front and back, and address must match records.
- Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics with minimum 80% passing score; updated every 3 years.
- Completion of skills checklist for specialty within one year of start; updated annually.
- Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start; must be rerun if break in service > 90 days.
- Employment verification for past seven years; updated annually or after break in service > 90 days.
- Signed assignment agreement required at onboarding (offer letter, initial confirmation, and extensions).
- Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations).
- Medical imaging contract worker onboarding education attestation (6 hours pre-hire training).
- Confirmation of assignment documentation on agency letterhead with accurate start and end dates.
