Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Contract
Location: Tacoma, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Unit: Operating Room (OR)
- Number of suites: 11
- Cases per day: 30-40
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), Friday through Sunday, no call
- Hours per week: 36 (12 hours per day)
- Floating: Required to float to another unit (Walters)
- Orientation: Unit/Department specific orientation provided
- Scrub color/dress code: Hospital scrubs provided

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Trauma experience required
- Experience with robotic surgery (DaVinci system) required
- Scrubbing experience required
- Active Washington State RN license (pending license acceptable; temporary license takes ~4 weeks)
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system required
- COVID-19 vaccination required
Additional Information
- Charge Nurse and Manager roles present on unit
- No call responsibilities during scheduled shifts
