Job Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 07:30 AM – 06:00 PM
- Patient Population: Trauma level one adults and pediatrics
- Rotations include: Surgery, ports, pediatrics, and Emergency Room (ER)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
Health and Safety Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccine: Preferred but not required; medical or religious exemptions accepted
- MMR: Positive titers within last 15 years required; booster protocol applies if low titer
- Varicella: Positive titers within last 15 years required; booster protocol applies if low titer
- Tdap: Vaccination within last 10 years; no declinations accepted
- Hepatitis B: Proof of full series, partial series, or signed declination accepted; no childhood vaccines allowed; positive titers accepted within 15 years
- Influenza vaccine: Required during flu season (October–March) or mask-wearing with specific declination forms
- Tuberculosis testing: 2-step PPD or IGRA test with negative results within last 6 months; if positive, clear chest X-ray and current TB questionnaire required
- Fit test for respirators: Completed within 1 year prior to start; updated annually
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start, confirming ability to work without restrictions
- Skills checklist: Clinical skills specific checklist completed within 1 year prior to start (one-time requirement)
- Competency exam: Minimum 80% score on relevant department exam within 1 year prior to start (one-time requirement)
- Core competencies: Minimum 80% score on HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics completed within 1 year prior to start (one-time requirement)
- Drug screen: 10-panel urine drug screen within 60 days prior to start; instant drug screens not accepted
- Criminal background check: Within 6 months prior to start, including social security trace, county searches (7 years), national sex offender registry, and OIG exclusion check
- Fingerprint background check: Ohio BCI&I and FBI checks depending on residency duration; attestation allowed if pending with proof of completion
- Employment verification: Verification of employment within last 5 years through third-party; attestations not allowed
- Education verification: Highest level of education verified through third-party; international equivalency required if applicable
- I-9 attestation: Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Submission packet required: Resume, 2 professional references (within last 2 years), job application, and employment history form
- Badge photo: Headshot with plain background, shoulders up, JPEG format
- Completion of required safety and compliance training modules prior to clearance; renewal annually
