Registered Nurse (RN) - Central Resource Pool (Med Surg/Tele)

Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (Straight nights)
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday

Job Summary

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Care for patients across all phases: preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Responsible for patient assessment, education, triage, care planning, coordination, and various nursing interventions.
• Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and according to age- and population-specific standards.
• Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act, state licensure rules, and the American Nurses Association’s Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in South Dakota.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.

Additional Information

• Must badge in and out at the facility.
• Scrubs color: Navy Blue.
• Local placements within an 80-mile radius.
• Prior employment with the facility requires a minimum 6-month gap before re-submission.

• This is a night shift position with straight nights.
• Work schedule includes every other weekend and holiday coverage.
• The role involves Med Surg and Telemetry patient care within a central resource pool.
