Registered Nurse (RN) Step Down - Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Job Details
- Specialty: RN Step Down (PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care)
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Work Setting: Placement on unit with greatest need (PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry)
- Floating: May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of Stepdown nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry nursing
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid Driver’s License
Additional Information
- This is an extension assignment for a current traveler.
- The role accepts RNs credentialed in Med-Surg or Stepdown nursing.
- Floating may be required within the skill set or to nearby sites (within 40 miles).
- Optional unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leadership within one week of start.
