Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology RN

• Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Work Schedule

• Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Floating between Pre/Post procedure area (12 beds, 3:1 ratio) and Interventional Radiology procedure rooms (body IR, neuro IR, CT, US)
• On-call requirement: 2 weekends (Saturday-Sunday) and 2 weeknights per month

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid Driver’s License

Health and Immunization Requirements

• MMR: Positive titers within last 15 years or appropriate booster protocol
• Varicella: Positive titers within last 15 years or appropriate booster protocol
• Tdap vaccination within last 10 years (no declinations accepted)
• Hepatitis B: Proof of full series, partial series, or signed declination form (agency form accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccine: Preferred but not required; medical or religious exemption allowed
• Influenza vaccine: Optional; if declined, masking and specific forms required during flu season (October–March)
• Fit test for N95 respirators completed within 1 year prior to start (specific approved models)
• Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test within last 6 months; if positive, clear chest X-ray and current TB questionnaire required (chest X-rays valid for 5 years)
• Physical/Health statement confirming ability to work without restrictions (within 1 year)

Background and Verification Requirements

• Professional license and certification primary source verification within 30 days prior to start; must be updated upon expiration and every 2 years with license renewal
• Education verification through third-party; international education requires equivalency documentation
• Employment verification for last 5 years through third-party
• Criminal background check within 6 months prior to start, including social security trace, county searches (7 years), national sex offender registry, and national criminal sweep
• Ohio fingerprinting and background checks depending on residency duration (live in Ohio ≥5 years or <5 years)
• OIG exclusion check within 6 months prior to start
• SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC screening within 6 months prior to start
• Drug screen within 60 days prior to start (10-panel, lab report required; instant screens not accepted)
• I-9 attestation confirming eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Submission packet including resume, 2 professional references (within last 2 years), job application, and employment history form

Additional Requirements

• Badge photo (headshot, shoulders up, plain background, JPEG format)
• Completion of required safety and compliance training modules prior to clearance; annual renewal required

This position requires a professional RN with certifications and verifications current and compliant with clinical and regulatory standards, able to work in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology environment with floating responsibilities and on-call duties.
