Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT) - Night Shift
Location: Glens Falls, New York
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform cardio-pulmonary evaluation, respiratory care, life support, and education for patients, families, and the public.
- Provide respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients of all ages with cardiopulmonary deficiencies or abnormalities.
- Follow established protocols or physician prescriptions.
- Duties may be performed in all hospital areas.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in New York
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC RRT required)
- Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS
- Experience working with neonate patients
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
