Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele (Night Shift)
Location
- Chesapeake, Virginia
- Near Virginia Beach and Norfolk, VA
Employment Type
- Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details
- Night shift
- 4x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 7:30)
- Overtime after 48 hours
- Option to indicate preference for 3x12 or 4x12 shifts
- Every other weekend, float, and holidays included within contract
Unit and Patient Care
- MedSurg Telemetry / Neurology / Stroke unit
- Patient ratio: 1:7
- Must have experience working with neurology/stroke patients
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Experience with neurology and stroke patients
- Prior travel nursing experience
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system
