Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.
• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Health and Safety Requirements

• Fit Test for respirator use.
• Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start (includes multiple substances; no THC).
• COVID-19 vaccine proof including booster through September 2025, or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL).
• MMR: Proof of two vaccinations or IgG titer lab results.
• Hepatitis B: At least first vaccination in series completed prior to start.
• Influenza vaccine: Optional but recommended (proof or declination accepted except in CA or IL).
• 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test with chest x-ray if positive (per state requirements).
• Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer lab results.
• Tdap vaccine: Current and non-expired; declination accepted if no pediatric interaction.
• Physical/Health Statement: Documentation of fitness to work from exam within the last year.

Professional and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county) covering last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED.
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion checks dated within 30 days.
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days, including statewide check for Michigan.
• Signed Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Confidentiality and Security Agreement, Integrity and Audit Services Form, and System Access Form.
• Trinity Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year.

• Two professional references.
