MRI Technologist - Westminster, Colorado

Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 10 hours per day, approximately 34 hours per week
• Schedule: Typically 3x12 hour shifts (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9a-9:30p) with call; 7 on/7 off schedule Wednesday to Tuesday night 9p-7a
• Weekend and Holiday Requirements: Yes
• Call Requirement: Yes, typically one night per week and one weekend per month
• Department: Radiology - MRI
• Scanners: 1 GE 1.5T MRI scanner
• Average Scans per Day: About 30 in a 24-hour period
• Imaging Systems Used: Epic, Fuki, Synapse PACS
• Duties: Typical MRI technologist responsibilities including starting IVs
• Floating: No floating or coverage of other areas required
• Dress Code: Black pants and Royal Blue top scrubs (scrubs not provided)
• Orientation: Department-specific orientation required; clinicians must be in-state for orientation week even if some modules are remote

Required Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
• Experience: Previous experience operating GE MRI scanners required
• Additional Requirements: Must submit driver's license; agency must provide traveler radiation badge

• Radiologist coverage is available both in-house and online
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used in the department
