Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work 36-40 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Orientation available on scheduled dates starting from April through December 2026.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Current state RN license for Wisconsin.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must have completed a skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
- Must provide license verification, copy of required certifications, and one supervisory reference at time of submission.
- Not employed by this health system within the last 12 months.
- Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility (exceptions apply for Madison with a rate adjustment).
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed.
Additional Information
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
- Call back and on-call pay available.
- Charge nurse and preceptor pay available.
