Cath Lab Technologist - Texas

Job Details

• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Location: The Woodlands, Texas
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days (6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
• Work Pattern: Rotating template with a 4-day weekend every fifth week
• Call: 7-10 days in a 5-week cycle, including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Cases per day: 6-8
• Trauma Level: Level II Trauma center with 242 beds
• Labs: 2 labs
• EMR System: Epic

Required Experience & Skills

• Experience with GE Maclab required
• Electrophysiology (EP) and Vascular experience needed
• Ability to simultaneously pan and scrub during procedures

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification via Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist
• Recent Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification
• Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Experience as an Electrophysiology Technician
• Experience as a Vascular Technologist

Additional Information

• Shift hours: Monday through Friday, four 10-hour shifts (6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
• Call schedule includes 7-10 days in a 5-week cycle with one weekend on call
