Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedule: 40 hours/week, weekends as needed, required on-call
Job Description
- Provide inpatient surgical nursing care in the Operating Room (OR) setting.
- Work a 40-hour week with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Weekend work and on-call availability required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Onboarding Requirements
- Submission of a professional profile including resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references.
- Completion and submission of multiple compliance and professional forms including:
- Code of Conduct
- I-9 verification
- Confidentiality and security agreement
- Integrity and audit services form
- Conflict of interest disclosure
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years, including SSN verification) dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion checks dated within 30 days
- Joint Commission CORE exam within the past year
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days
- System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
Additional Information
- NIHSS certification is optional.
- Agency provides the Trinity Skills Checklist for clinical contractors.
