Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Days)
Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Required to work 1-2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
- Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates throughout the year.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid driver’s license
Additional Information
- Night Bonus: 16 hours.
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
- Call back and on-call pay available.
- Charge/preceptor pay available.
- Facility trauma level: Level 1 trauma center.
- Nearby trauma centers vary from Level 2 to Level 4 in the region.
Note: This position requires adherence to all specified clinical skills and licensure requirements.
