Description

Registered Nurse – LTAC ICU (Travel/Contract)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Unit Description

High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) with 20 semi-private rooms, accommodating up to 40 patients.
Patient population includes adults (18+) requiring care for acute brain injury, respiratory assistance, cardiac monitoring, complex medical conditions, and rehabilitation.
Provides 24/7 respiratory care, diagnostics, medical treatment, and rehabilitation services.
Focus on patients transitioning from acute care settings needing extended multidisciplinary treatment.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year.
Experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) settings.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
