Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Nights
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Patient types include Cardiac, Trauma, and Neuro.
- Work 12-hour night shifts.
- Weekly hours: 36-40 hours standard; overtime billable after 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- CPI certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
Orientation
- Orientation sessions are scheduled periodically throughout the year (multiple two-day sessions available).
Additional Information
- Night shift position with 12-hour shifts.
- Opportunity to work in a critical care environment (ICU).
- Floating within the same discipline may be required.
Note: Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are welcome.
