Registered Nurse – ER (Night Shift) – Maryland

Job Details

• Location: Randallstown, Maryland
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 14 weeks
• Shift: Nights (4 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 48
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Unit: Emergency Room (ER)
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 to 1:6
• Unit Highlights:

  • Primary Stroke Center (Gold status with American Heart Association)
  • STEMI patients transferred if catheterization intervention needed
  • Two locked behavioral health units in ED with 1:6 ratio, supported by ED staffing and security
  • Two rapid evaluation units for urgent and critical care needs with rapid medical screenings
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
• Current certifications issued by the American Heart Association:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
