Description

Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Syracuse, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 (36 hours per week)
Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW) & Every Other Holiday (EOH) per department rotation
Call: No call required
Electronic Health Record: Epic
Travel Requirement: Must be located 75+ miles from the facility (no local contracts)


Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department, supporting acute patient needs in a fast-paced environment.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New York
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association

Additional Information

  • No local contracts; candidates must be at least 75 miles away from the facility location.
  • No on-call responsibilities.
  • Work schedule includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.
  • Electronic Health Record system used is Epic.

This position is ideal for experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses who meet the certification and compliance requirements and are open to a 13-week travel assignment in Syracuse, NY.
