Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Douglas, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night
Job Description
- Work primarily in Labor and Delivery with a patient load including 6 LDRP rooms, 2 triage rooms, 5 postpartum/well-baby rooms, and 2 NICU beds in the nursery.
- Approximately 80-90 births per month.
- May need to float to Mother Baby unit occasionally.
- Every other weekend schedule.
- Charting system used: Centricity; medication charting with Paragon.
- Staffing ratios follow AWHONN standards.
- Candidates should be able to take charge in their role.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Perinatal nursing is a must.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
- Familiarity with Centricity electronic health record system.
Additional Information
- No floating to other units outside of Mother Baby.
- No charge nurse responsibilities expected.
