Job Description
- Work in outpatient surgery/day surgery setting covering Preoperative (Preop) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- On-call requirement: about 3-4 weeknight calls plus one 24-hour weekend call every 8 weeks
- Weeknight call hours: 9 PM – 7 AM
- Weekend call hours: 7 AM – 7 AM
- Shift options include:
- 6 AM – 6 PM
- 7 AM – 7 PM
- 8 AM – 8 PM
- 9 AM – 9 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care, with experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid Driver's License
