Registered Nurse - Float (ICU/ED/Medical-Surgical)

- Fort Defiance, Arizona

Shift Details
- Flexible 8-12 hour shifts (Day and Night)
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
Job Description
- Float position covering Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Department (ED), and Medical-Surgical/Pediatrics units
- Reports daily to House Supervisor for unit assignment
- Must be flexible to work in different departments as needed
- May be required to take a patient load or perform task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 3 years of Medical-Surgical experience, including Pediatric Medical-Surgical experience
- Medical-Surgical experience within the last year
- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Experience in Emergency Department (ED)
- Certifications required:
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- Moderate Sedation (Moderate Conscious Sedation may be obtained through the facility after confirmation)
Orientation
- Orientation sessions held on Mondays only
- Missing compliance deadlines will delay start to the following Monday
Hours
- Approximately 36 hours per week
